子供会の神輿の手伝いをした。

地元の子供会では4年生、5年生、6年生は子供神輿を担ぐことができる。親はその手伝いをしなければならない。それで日曜日の朝2時間程度で御輿の準備をした。私は5年目なので手順は覚えているので、緊張もなく、無事に手伝うことができた。午前10時30分から地元の神社に行ってお祓いをしてもらい、氏子回りをする。私が手伝い始めるよりずっと前に、子供神輿を氏子回りで落としたことがあったらしく、氏子回りはリヤカーに積んで引きずることにしたそうだ。10数分歩いて5分程度の休憩を入れながら練り歩く。大人神輿の後ろをついて廻る。本来は大人は大人神輿を担ぐこともできるのだが、私には体力的にあれは出来そうにない。氏子回りが終わったら本宮である。本宮には近くの神輿が集まる。子供神輿も5基くらいは集まる。本宮はリヤカー禁止ですので、回りに補助役の大人が10人程度ついて、子供たちに担がせます。今年の子供たちはよくがんばってくれたようです。ちなみに私は馬（神輿の足）役でした。(英語の説明は手抜きです）

In the child association in my living area, the 4th, 5th and 6th grader, can shoulder the portable shrine for children. We call "Mikoshi" as portable shrine. Their parents should do the help.
In the last sunday morning, we prepared the "Mikoshi". Because I'd done for 5 years, that was done well for me. And then they shouldered "Mikoshi", walked to our shrine place at 10:30AM. And we were purified by the God for safety.
We started walking around at our parishioner's area. They shoulder "Mikoshi" for  10 minutes, and rest for 5 minutes. They repeated for 8 areas.
At 4:00PM, we started "Hon-miya" which is the festival for "Mikoshi". They shouldered "Mikoshi" for about one hour, about 2000m. It was not in continuousness. Their parents enclosed them, because "Mikoshi" must not fall down to the ground. If they did it, the divine punishment descends to them (our children).  Children often worked hard. The "Hon-miya" ended safely this year, too.
